L’Inventaire Permanent du LIttoral (IPLI) est une couche d’occupation du sol réalisée pour la première édition en 1977 à partir d’une photo-interprétation de clichés aériens papier au 1/25 000. L’IPLI couvre le littoral français sur une distance minimale de 5 km à l’intérieur des terres par rapport au trait de côte ou au moins une commune entière (exemple de Arles, commune de superficie importante) soit au total 145 planches au 1/25 000.
